A managing agent is a different kind of client from a single site. They see every security provider in the market, across many properties, year after year — and they renew with the ones that cause them least trouble. Residentia Trust has acted for more than two hundred body corporates, homeowners' associations and property owners' associations.
It is worth being precise about that number, because it would be easy to misuse: two hundred is the size of Residentia's managed portfolio, not a count of JBA's sites. What it means is that JBA holds preferred-contractor standing with an agent operating at that scale — a claim about standing, not about size.
The relationship started in 2009 and covers several properties, including Brackengate Business Park, Northgate Estate and Icon Park. Those are long contracts rather than recent wins: Brackengate Business Park 1 and Northgate since 2009, Icon Park since 2011, Brackengate Business Park 2 since 2018.
Business-park security has a complication that estate security does not. In a park, the landlord and the individual tenants often want different things from the same gate, and a provider is frequently appointed twice over — once for the park, and separately by businesses inside it. Officers have to know which instruction applies where, who may authorise what, and which incidents go to the managing agent rather than the tenant.
On outcomes, we would rather quote the client than ourselves. Residentia's portfolio manager writes that JBA's work has contributed to a substantial reduction in break-ins across the estates they manage, bringing incidents down to minimal levels and, in some cases, eliminating them entirely. That is their assessment, in a signed letter we will send you on request.
“Notably, their efforts have contributed to a substantial reduction in break-ins across the estates they manage, bringing incidents down to minimal levels and, in some cases, eliminating them entirely. Their team is committed, responsive, and consistently goes the extra mile.”
