Wellington sits just north of Paarl, and its security profile reflects that: wine and fruit farms with long perimeters and seasonal labour, a working town centre, and residential developments on the edges.

To be straightforward: we do not currently have a contracted site in Wellington. We are listing it because it is genuinely within reach of a team we already run — we guard La Perla Estate, Optenhorst Estate and 2 On Tabak in Paarl — and not because we want the search traffic. If we could not service it properly we would say so, as we do elsewhere on this site.

Proximity to an existing cluster is not a marketing point; it changes how a contract is actually run, and it is worth understanding before you compare quotes. A site that sits a short drive from other sites you already staff can share a patrol vehicle's route, be reached by a supervisor on an ordinary visit round rather than a special trip, and draw relief officers who already know the area when someone calls in sick. A site standing alone an hour from everything else carries all of that as dedicated cost, or quietly does without it.

That last point is the one that decides whether a rural contract holds up. Relief cover is where distant sites fail: the officer who cannot be replaced at short notice is the reason a post sits empty on a Sunday. Being able to draw from a nearby team is the difference between a roster that survives contact with reality and one that looks fine on paper.

We have no office in Wellington and no plans to claim one. Management, control room and dispatch are at 38 Platinum Park in Brackenfell; the operational answer for Wellington is the Paarl cluster, not the head office.

Who we would expect to deal with here: farm owners and managers, estate trustees, and business owners in town. As everywhere, a quotation follows a site visit — on an agricultural property the perimeter walk is the quotation.
